jacques-jams It’s here ladies and gentlemen. One of the greatest mixtapes to hit the airwaves this year. Clinton Sparks put together this amazing Chester French mixtape that everyone should download, you really have no idea how crazy this shit is. To top it off, EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER IS FEATURED ON THIS MOFO RIGHT HERE! You got Solange, Common, Bun B, Talib Kweli, Pusha-T of Clipse, Jadakiss, and many more. It’s definitely worth the download, especially since it’s free so it’s not like you can be mad if you don’t like it. Oh well, your fault. Just delete it, although I’m pretty sure nobody will delete this once they listen.

Chester French

Chester French opened up for Lady Gaga last night at the Wiltern out here in LA and I gotta say that I was really excited to see them. They were amazing, they got the LA crowd real hype and that doesn’t happen often. We’re usually just waiting to see who we actually paid to see, but this opening act showed us that they were soon going to be the ones we would be paying to see. The album, Love The Future, comes out on April 21st. This is a CD I’m actually really excited about spending my money on.

A they, not a he, consisting of young friends D.A. Wallach and Max Drummey, Chester French seeks to prove that pop music can be at once challenging and accessible. And with the bracing, involving and always-surprising set of pop-art songs on their debut album Love the Future, the duo has made a bold statement that’s as delightful as it is ambitious, an album informed by a great wealth of music that is poised to break barriers and set new standards
